What We’re Looking For
We’re assembling a Special Operations team: a high-talent unit built to solve problems, create systems, and turn ideas into companies. This role blends product, entrepreneurship, tech, and operations. You’ll take ambiguous ideas, messy operations, or brand-new concepts and make them work in the real world. Sometimes this means building systems, sometimes standing up a new process, sometimes designing a first version of a product or company. Always, it means figuring out how to go from zero to one. You won’t just manage you’ll build, test, learn, and then hand it off once it is running smoothly. This role reports directly to EVP of Operations.

Launch and scale initiatives: Independently take new ideas, processes, or ventures from concept, to product-market fit, to viable and growing business.
Streamline operations: Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, implementing systems that run smoothly and efficiently.
Prototype and test innovation: Build first drafts of products, services, or company functions, iterating based on feedback and real-world testing.
Communicate with clarity: Maintain transparent, consistent updates to leadership, providing actionable insights and progress reporting.
Earn trust through impact: Be recognized as someone who figures things out, collaborates effectively, treats people with respect, and consistently delivers results.
Key Responsibilities
Translate big-picture goals into clear priorities, systems, and results
Dive into ambiguous, high-stakes problems and deliver working solutions
Clarify priorities and track progress through a weekly KPI scorecard, ensuring alignment on goals and accountability across the team(s)
Demonstrate leadership by building and managing small, project-based teams as needed, scaling resources to meet business priorities.
Build first versions of systems, processes, and even new company functions
Research, test, and prototype solutions for emerging business opportunities
Communicate clearly, kindly, and persuasively with teammates and stakeholders to align and secure buy-in
Document solutions so they can be scaled and handed off
What You Bring
STEM degree in Engineering, CS, Physics, Math, Economics, or related field.
2-6 years of experience applying operational and business skills in startups, biz-ops, Chief of Staff, or early-stage operator roles.
Proven ability to build and lead small project-based teams in ambiguous environments, while driving alignment and accountability through structured tools such as weekly KPI scorecards.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, tackle tough challenges with grit, and deliver results.
Ability to build systems, prototype solutions, and optimize processes end-to-end.
Experience applying cross-functional collaboration and clear communication to influence teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to adapt across domains, shift priorities quickly, and take ownership of initiatives from start to finish.
Ability to grow from technical expertise to operational leadership, with potential to evolve into executive or founder-level roles.
Location
Remote within the US.
Schedule
40-50 hours/week, independently directed. You’ll be held to results, not micromanaged. Expect to put in long hours when needed to get the job done.

Compensation Range
$120,000-$140,000 DOE
Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, location, and demonstrated skills. We consider factors such as years of relevant experience, past impact in operational or startup roles, and technical or analytical expertise when determining salary.
